The Venue
Since 2021, we have been playing in at the Rathskeller Bar in the Hermann Sons Association Lodge. This basement bar continues the overall "feel" we have always aimed for at the Alamo.
Hours of Operation
The Venue will be open until midnight each night - no more getting kicked out before those late games are finished!
Parking
Parking is available both underneath the building (after 5PM on Friday), and in an attached lot on the South end of the building. There is no charge for parking at the venue.
Alcohol Policy
Absolutely no outside alcohol will be permitted at the Alamo. This is a break from previous years, but the new venue's TABC license covers liquor, so you can't bring your own in. Please respect their rules!
Food
A number of restaurants are within walking distance of the venue for lunch both days. The venue will have a food truck in their parking lot on Friday and Saturday nights for those who want to stick around and game!
Scalability
One of the neatest perks of this venue is that it gives us lots of room to grow! As we get larger, we have the option of moving upstairs to the historic Ballroom - a beautiful, historic setting with tons of space and amazing natural light and stained glass.
